Additional features and use
Vieweg dispensing needle with an aluminium hub and stainless steel cannula, Luer-Lock thread. The metal hub resists solvents and aggressive media, and the needle can be reused after cleaning.
A 1.6 mm (Gauge 14) bore suits thick and filled materials – sealing compounds, greases, thermal pastes and potting compounds – as well as larger shots. The standard 12.7 mm (1/2") length is a good compromise between tip stability and a clear view of the dispensing point.
The same bore is also available in 25.4 mm and 50.8 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
