ESD Personnel Grounding
The operator in the EPA zone is the largest source of electrostatic charge — every movement generates a static discharge that, without grounding, directly endangers sensitive components. A wrist strap or heel strap is therefore mandatory equipment for anyone handling ESDS components per IEC 61340-5-1.

How to decide: A wrist strap is the standard for seated work at a bench — the cheapest and most reliable option. A heel strap is chosen for standing work with movement across an ESD floor. A wireless wrist strap with a monitor is valued where a cable gets in the way or where you need continuous contact logging for audits. A shoe cover serves visitors to the EPA zone or temporary use without ESD footwear.
We offer fixed and adjustable wrist straps, heel straps, wireless versions with a monitor, shoe covers and heel grounders — for all types of operations from single-piece production to automated lines. Plus testers for regular functional checks.
Regular verification of personnel grounding is a legal requirement in EPA zones — we also provide training and audit services. Contact us.
