ESD Workbench Mats
An ESD workbench mat forms a conductive table surface that dissipates charge from tools, components and objects placed on the work area. Without a mat connected to the grounding system, no table can be considered an EPA workplace per IEC 61340-5-1.
When to choose a mat and when to choose an ESD table: A workbench mat is the right choice if you have a standard table and want to turn it into an EPA workplace quickly and affordably — lay the mat, connect the grounding cable and you are ready. It is also ideal for temporary or mobile workplaces, field service technicians or tables that are shared for ESD and non-ESD work. Choose an ESD table with an integrated conductive top for new permanent workplaces where you want a comprehensive, visually clean solution without exposed cables and mats. For daily intensive use the table is more durable — mats wear out over time and need to be replaced.
We offer two-layer and three-layer mats in various sizes and colours, including grounding cables and boxes for a complete connection. Compliant with IEC 61340-5-1.
We recommend pairing the mat with a grounding box for easy wrist-strap connection — contact us for help choosing the right combination.
