Antistatic PMMA Acrylic

Antistatic PMMA (acrylic) offers the optical clarity of glass at the weight and machinability of plastic — and unlike standard acrylic does not create electrostatic charge during handling. The properties are built into the material and do not wear off even after repeated cleaning with alcohol or IPA, which is standard in electronics manufacturing.

Typical uses: transparent parts of machine covers and manipulators, lighting panels in cleanrooms, viewing windows and inspection openings at test fixtures, aesthetic covers for ESD workplaces. Can be cut, milled, heat-formed and bonded with special adhesives. Compliant with IEC 61340-5-1.
