Antistatic PE Plastic — Sheets & Rods

PE 1000 AST is the antistatic variant of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene for producing functional parts directly in the EPA zone — bins, fixtures, guides, covers and handling elements. The permanent antistatic properties are built into the material and do not rely on surface treatment or ambient humidity.

It machines excellently by milling and by hand, produces no burrs and does not spark when in contact with metals. Suitable wherever metallic or standard plastic parts need to be replaced for ESD safety reasons — especially in automated lines, pick-and-place fixtures and manipulators.
