Additional features and use

All-metal Vieweg dispensing needle – nickel-plated brass hub, stainless steel 1.4301 cannula, Luer-Lock thread. With no plastic parts it withstands solvents and higher temperatures, suits anaerobic and UV adhesives, and can be cleaned and reused.

The 0.40 mm (Gauge 22) inner diameter is a versatile choice for precise dots and thin beads – flux, medium-thin adhesives and fine-pitch solder paste on smaller pads. The standard 13 mm length is a good compromise between tip stability and a clear view of the dispensing point.

For a finer deposit choose G23 (0.30 mm) from the same range; for thicker media or higher flow choose G21 (0.50 mm). The same bore is also available in 50 mm and 100 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
