Additional features and use

All-metal Vieweg dispensing needle – nickel-plated brass hub, stainless steel 1.4301 cannula, Luer-Lock thread. With no plastic parts it withstands solvents and higher temperatures, suits anaerobic and UV adhesives, and can be cleaned and reused.

A 0.40 mm (Gauge 22) bore offers a good balance of precision and flow: it handles flux, medium-viscosity adhesives and fine-grain solder paste. The long 50 mm cannula is designed for deep holes, cavities and hard-to-reach spots in assemblies.

For a finer deposit choose G23 (0.30 mm) from the same range; for thicker media or higher flow choose G21 (0.50 mm). The same bore is also available in 13 mm and 100 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
