Additional features and use

All-metal Vieweg dispensing needle – nickel-plated brass hub, stainless steel 1.4301 cannula, Luer-Lock thread. With no plastic parts it withstands solvents and higher temperatures, suits anaerobic and UV adhesives, and can be cleaned and reused.

A 0.50 mm (Gauge 21) bore is a proven workhorse size for solder pastes, epoxies, SMT adhesives and silicones, producing a continuous bead without breaks. The standard 13 mm length is a good compromise between tip stability and a clear view of the dispensing point.

For a finer deposit choose G22 (0.40 mm) from the same range; for thicker media or higher flow choose G20 (0.60 mm). The same bore is also available in 50 mm length. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
