Additional features and use
All-metal Vieweg dispensing needle – nickel-plated brass hub, stainless steel 1.4301 cannula, Luer-Lock thread. With no plastic parts it withstands solvents and higher temperatures, suits anaerobic and UV adhesives, and can be cleaned and reused.
The 0.60 mm (Gauge 20) inner diameter is one of the most widely used sizes – suitable for solder paste, SMT and epoxy adhesives and medium-viscosity silicones. The short 7 mm cannula keeps the tip close to the hub, making it very stable with the lowest flow resistance – ideal for precise dot placement on a flat board.
The same bore is also available in 13 mm, 50 mm and 100 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
