Additional features and use
All-metal Vieweg dispensing needle – nickel-plated brass hub, stainless steel 1.4301 cannula, Luer-Lock thread. With no plastic parts it withstands solvents and higher temperatures, suits anaerobic and UV adhesives, and can be cleaned and reused.
A 1.6 mm (Gauge 14) bore suits thick and filled materials – sealing compounds, greases, thermal pastes and potting compounds – as well as larger shots. The standard 10 mm length is a good compromise between tip stability and a clear view of the dispensing point.
This is the finest size in the range; for higher flow choose 1.90 mm. The same bore is also available in 50 mm and 100 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
