Additional features and use
Straight Vieweg dispensing needle with Luer-Lock thread, polypropylene hub and precision stainless steel 1.4301 cannula – a reliable seal on syringe or cartridge and consistent flow.
A 1.6 mm (Gauge 14) bore suits thick and filled materials – sealing compounds, greases, thermal pastes and potting compounds – as well as larger shots. The standard 12.7 mm (1/2") length is a good compromise between tip stability and a clear view of the dispensing point.
For an even finer deposit the same range offers G17 (1.04 mm, white); this is the largest size in the range. The same bore is also available in 6.35 mm, 25.4 mm and 38.1 mm lengths. The Luer-Lock thread fits standard dispensing cartridges and syringes from 3 to 55 ml as well as dispensing valves with this connection.
