Detailed information

Product detailed description

EFM 022-CPS Charged Plate Set – ionizer test kit

EFM 022-CPS is a compact and accurate Charged Plate Monitor designed to verify the performance of ionizers at the workplace — it measures the decay time from ±1000 V to ±100 V and the offset voltage (balance) of ionization. It follows IEC/EN 61340-5-1 methodology and is suitable for regular EPA-area checks, service diagnostics and type testing.

What the set includes

  • EFM 022 electrostatic field meter — digital electric-field meter with display
  • Charged plate — clip-on metal electrode 75 × 150 mm
  • High-voltage generator ±1200 V for charging the plate
  • Robust carrying case
  • Stand for EFM 022
  • Grounding lead
  • 9 V rechargeable battery + spare battery
  • Wall plug charger
  • User manual (EN/DE)
  • Factory calibration certificate

What it is used for

  • Verifying ionizer decay time — the classic ±1000 V → ±100 V test
  • Measuring residual ionization offset (balance)
  • On-site ionizer checks as part of the EPA compliance audit
  • Regular audits and documentation for quality management (IEC 61340-5-1)
