Vieweg 502782 – dispensing barrel 5 ml, amber

This 5 ml barrel from the 8000 series is made from silicone-free polypropylene. The amber version is also intended for light-sensitive materials.

Use and compatibility

Use a piston and adapter matched to the barrel capacity and series. The sales pack contains 40 pieces; the price is for the full pack.

Additional features and use

Vieweg 8000 series dispensing cartridge (syringe barrel) made of polypropylene with a Luer-Lock tip for dispensing needles. For use with pneumatic dispensers and Vieweg adapters; max. pressure 6.9 bar, temperature up to 60 °C.

The amber cartridge filters UV and short-wave light, protecting light-sensitive materials while still allowing a fill-level check. The small 5 ml volume suits expensive media, samples, lab work and short runs – the material is used up before it can age. Dimensions: outer diameter 14.6 mm, length 71 mm.

Matching pistons: green, blue, black and orange. Adapters for connecting to the dispenser: 150 cm Hose. Spare adapter heads: POM, 4/2 mm Hose. Spare seals: Buna and Viton. The same range is also available in 3 ml, 10 ml, 30 ml and 55 ml. The same volume is also available as: black.
